Quebec and Tahoe

This week has been a big one for me, getting back on snow for the first time since my crash in early January. My skiing rehabilitation has gone better than I could have ever hoped for, my shoulder feels unreal and I’m feeling confident in my skiing again.
I began my training in Mont Saint Anne, Quebec. Situated about 4 hours drive from Montreal, it’s the coldest place I’ve skied to date. I flew from Montreal to Reno to meet up with Errol Kerr for some skier cross training on his track at Alpine Meadows. I welcomed the warm Californian weather and had an amazing day of training.

Flying to Vancouver today. Busy couple of days ahead with uniform distribution, press conferences, flag rasing ceremony and of course the opening ceremony on the 12th. It’s something I’ve looked forward to my whole life and it’s almost surreal I will be walking into that stadium in three days time.
I will be blogging regularly over the next couple of weeks to keep you updated on the everything there is to know about the Olympic Games.
